RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0853 (Sponsored by: Committee on Agriculture, Fishery and Agrarian Reform and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE VALIDITY OF BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 05, S. 2024 OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF BALINTAWAK, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE MANDATING ALL OWNERS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OR KINDS OF ANIMALS TO SECURE THEM IN A PROPER AREA WITHIN BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, CITY OF PAGADIAN, AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATORS THEREOF" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Balintawak, this city, enacted Barangay Ordinance No. 05, s. 2024 entitled: "An Ordinance Mandating All Owners Of Different Types Or Kinds Of Animals To Secure Them In A Proper Area Within Barangay Balintawak, City Of Pagadian, And Imposing Penalties For Violators Thereof," and submitted the same to the Sangguniang Panlungsod for review and confirmation pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREAS, the Committees on Agriculture, Fishery and Agrarian Reform and on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation, to which the foregoing Barangay Ordinance was referred for review, found the same in order in form and is consistent with the powers delegated to the Sangguniang Barangay thus, the recommendation to confirm the foregoing measure is supported and concurred by the body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Patrisha Kaye N. Asugas, be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the validity of Barangay Ordinance No. 05, s. 2024 of the Sangguniang Barangay of Balintawak, entitled: "An Ordinance Mandating All Owners Of Different Types Or Kinds Of Animals To Secure Them In A Proper Area Within Barangay Balintawak, City Of Pagadian, And Imposing Penalties For Violators Thereof." RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Balintawak through its Punong Barangay, for information, guidance and reference. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
