RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0850 (Sponsor: Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE VALIDITY OF BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 05, SERIES OF 2024, OF BARANGAY SANTIAGO, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING FILING FEES FOR COMPLAINTS FILED UNDER THE KATARUNGANG PAMBARANGAY LAW, FEES FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BARANGAY PERMITS, BARANGAY CERTIFICATIONS, AND BARANGAY CLEARANCES FOR NON-BUSINESS-RELATED TRANSACTIONS, AND PROVIDING EXEMPTIONS THEREFOR" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Santiago enacted Barangay Ordinance No. 05, s. of 2024, entitled: "An Ordinance Imposing Filing Fees For Complaints Filed Under The Katarungang Pambarangay Law, Fees For the Issuance of Barangay Permits, Barangay Certifications, and Barangay Clearances for Non-Business-Related Transactions, and Providing Exemptions Therefor," and submitted the same to the Sangguniang Panlungsod pursuant to Section 57 of R.A. 7160 for review and confirmation; WHEREAS, the said Barangay Ordinance No. 05, s. 2024, after careful consideration by this august body through the concerned Committees, has been found to have substantially complied with the provisions of R.A. 7160 and such other pertinent legal requisites; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the validity of Barangay Ordinance No. 05, s. 2024, of Barangay Santiago, entitled: "An Ordinance Imposing Filing Fees For Complaints Filed Under The Katarungang Pambarangay Law, Fees For the Issuance of Barangay Permits, Barangay Certifications, and Barangay Clearances for Non-Business-Related Transactions, and Providing Exemptions Therefor." RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Santiago, through the Punong Barangay, for their information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
