RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0845 (Co-Sponsors: Committees on Police, Fire & Public Safety; on Barangay Affairs; and on Laws, Rules & Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 071, ON THIRD AND FINAL READING AND ORDAINING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2024-582, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE 54 BARANGAYS OF PAGADIAN CITY TO ORGANIZE AND STRENGTHEN ITS BARANGAY QUICK RESPONSE TEAM, PARTICIPATE IN ALL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT (DRRM) TRAININGS CONDUCTED BY THE CITY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT OFFICE (CDRRMO) WITH ITS PARTNER AGENCIES AND BE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN ALL RESPONSE AND RESCUE OPERATIONS IN THEIR RESPECTIVE BARANGAYS" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 071, sponsored by Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, was thoroughly considered by this august body on First and Second Reading and has undergone and complied with all the required processes following the determination of its necessity and practicability, hence its consideration on Third and Final Reading was undertaken; WHEREAS, the measure as it stands merits the body's final action and approval; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves Draft Ordinance No. 071 on Third and Final Reading and ordaining the same as City Ordinance No. 2024-582, entitled: "An Ordinance Requiring The 54 Barangays Of Pagadian City To Organize And Strengthen Its Barangay Quick Response Team, Participate In All Disaster Risk Reduction And Management (DRRM) Trainings Conducted By The City Disaster Risk Reduction And Management Office (CDRRMO) With Its Partner Agencies And Be Actively Involved In All Response And Rescue Operations In Their Respective Barangays."
