RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0844 (Co-Sponsors: Committees on Police, Fire & Public Safety; on Barangay Affairs; and on Laws, Rules & Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 071, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE 54 BARANGAYS OF PAGADIAN CITY TO ORGANIZE AND STRENGTHEN ITS BARANGAY QUICK RESPONSE TEAM, PARTICIPATE IN ALL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT (DRRM) TRAININGS CONDUCTED BY THE CITY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT OFFICE (CDRRMO) WITH ITS PARTNER AGENCIES AND BE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN ALL RESPONSE AND RESCUE OPERATIONS IN THEIR RESPECTIVE BARANGAYS," AND FOR ITS CONSIDERATION ON THIRD READING" WHEREAS, after thorough consideration of the substance and merits of Draft Ordinance No. 071 on Second Reading, this body, finds the proposed measure within the ambit of authority of the body, aside from its very relevance and practicability under the present circumstances; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Second Reading Draft Ordinance No. 071, entitled: "An Ordinance Requiring The 54 Barangays of Pagadian City to Organize and Strengthen its Barangay Quick Response Team, participate in all Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Trainings conducted by The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) with its partner agencies and be actively involved in all response and rescue operations in their respective Barangays," and for its consideration on Third Reading.
