RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0843 (Co-Sponsors: Committees on Police, Fire & Public Safety; on Youth Welfare, juvenile Delinquency & Drug Abuse Prevention; and on Laws, Rules & Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION REMANDING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 075, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE MANDATING THE PROVISION OF EMERGENCY RELIEF AND PROTECTION FOR CHILDREN BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER DISASTERS AND OTHER EMERGENCY SITUATIONS," TO HONORABLE SAM TYRA F. CO-IN HER CAPACITY AS SPONSOR-WITH A FURTHER RECOMMENDATION TO REVISE AND/OR INSTITUTE AMENDMENTS THERETO" WHEREAS, presented for consideration was Draft Ordinance No. 075, entitled "An Ordinance Mandating the Provision of Emergency Relief and Protection for Children Before, During, and After Disasters and Other Emergency Situations;" WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, the body, in support of the findings of the concerned Committees-to which the foregoing matter was initially referred-that certain provisions of the aforementioned draft ordinance require further refinement and clarification to ensure its conformity with existing national laws and, in the interest of making a well-crafted and legally sound ordinance, deems it imperatively necessary to remand the said draft to the sponsor for the revision and/or amendment thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to remand, as this body hereby remands Draft Ordinance No. 075, entitled: "An Ordinance Mandating The Provision Of Emergency Relief And Protection For Children Before, During And After Disasters And Other Emergency Situations," to Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co-in her capacity as sponsor-with a further recommendation to revise and/or institute amendments thereto. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Honorable Sam Tyra F.
