"A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO GRANT THE AMOUNT OF FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND (P45,000.00) PESOS, OUT OF ANY AVAILABLE FUND SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT, AS MONETARY REWARD/AWARD TO ANY PERSON/PERSONS WHO HAVE PROVIDED VITAL INFORMATION LEADING TO THE SUCCESSFUL OPERATION AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS AND ARREST OF ALLEGED DRUG SUSPECT AND THE CONFISCATION OF A TOTAL OF 100 GRAMS OF SUSPECTED METHAMPHETAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE "SHABU" IN BARANGAY SANTIAGO, THIS CITY"
WHEREAS, on or about 3:15 in the afternoon of March 20, 2024, the joint elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-RO9-RSET RO9-ZDS PO, and PIU-ZDS conducted a buy-bust operation at Boulevard, Barangay Santiago, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, which resulted in the arrest of a certain Ascuna Andig y Dimasangca and the confiscation of 100 grams of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride locally known as "shabu" worth P680,000.00;
WHEREAS, it is worthy to note that the successful operation was made possible through a meticulous investigation and surveillance conducted by the operatives as well as the material information provided by reliable informant which eventually led to the successful arrest of alleged drug dealer and the confiscation of suspected illegal drugs and paraphernalia, such that it is but prim and proper for the City Government to grant monetary reward/incentive to any informant or person/s who have provided vital information which resulted in the successful operation, hence, authorizing the Honorable City Mayor for the purpose is in order and most appropriate; 
 NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it
RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to grant the amount of Forty-five Thousand (P45,000.00) Pesos, out of any available fund sources of the City Government, as monetary reward/award to any person/persons who have provided vital information leading to the successful operation against illegal drugs and arrest of alleged drug suspect and the confiscation of a total of 100 grams of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride "Shabu" in Barangay Santiago, this city. 
RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; the City Budget Officer; the City Accountant; the City Treasurer; the City Auditor; and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) through Dir. Maharani R. Gadaoni-Tosoc, Director-III, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
