RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0820

"A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE VALIDITY OF BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 01, S. 2024 OF THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF SANTIAGO, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ON USE AND/OR RENTAL OF THE BARANGAY SANTIAGO COVERED COURT AND PROVIDING PENALTIES THEREOF"
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Santiago enacted Barangay Ordinance No. 01. s. of 2024, entitled: "An Ordinance Providing the Rules and Regulations on Use and/or Rental of the Barangay Santiago Covered Court and Providing Penalties Thereof," and submitted the same to the Sangguniang Panlungsod pursuant to Section 57 of R.A. 7160 for review and confirmation;
WHEREAS, the said Barangay Ordinance No. 01, s. 2024, after careful consideration by this august body through the concerned Committees, has been found to have substantially complied with the provisions of R.A. 7160 and such other pertinent legal requisites;
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it
RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the validity of Barangay Ordinance No. 01. s. of 2024, of the Barangay Council of Santiago, entitled: "An Ordinance Providing the Rules and Regulations on Use and/or Rental of the Barangay Santiago Covered Court and Providing Penalties Thereof."
RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Santiago, through the Punong Barangay, for their information and guidance.
