"A RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUDGET CIRCULAR NO. 2024-1, DATED APRIL 4, 2024, ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT (DBM), ON THE SUBJECT: "UPDATED RULES AND REGULATIONS ON THE GRANT OF THE UNIFORM/CLOTHING ALLOWANCE (U/CA) TO CIVILIAN GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL," AND REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE LOCAL FINANCE COMMITTEE TO ALLOCATE FUNDS OUT OF ANY AVAILABLE FUND SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT FOR THE EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SAME" 
WHEREAS, in pursuance to Section 58 of Republic Act No. 11975 or the Fiscal Year 2024 General Appropriations Act which authorizes the payment of the Uniform/Clothing Allowance not exceeding Seven Thousand Pesos (P7,000.00) per annum for each qualified government employee, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) issued Budget Circular No. 2024-1, dated April 4, 2024, on the subject: "Updated Rules and Regulations on the Grant of the Uniform/Clothing Allowance (U/CA) to Civilian Government Personnel;" 
WHEREAS, given the need to implement the foregoing directive in the Local Government of Pagadian, it is thus necessary to adopt DBM Budget Circular No. 2024-1, with a request to the Honorable City Mayor to direct the Local Finance Committee to appropriate funds for the purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To, be it
RESOLVED to adopt, as this body hereby adopts Budget Circular No. 2024-1, dated April 4, 2024, issued by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), on the subject: "Updated Rules and Regulations on the Grant of the Uniform/Clothing Allowance (U/CA) to Civilian Government Personnel."
RESOLVED FURTHER, to request the Honorable City Mayor to direct the Local Finance Committee to allocate funds out of any available fund sources of the City Government for the effective implementation of the same.
RESOLVED FINALLY, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; to the City Budget Officer; to the City Accountant; to the City Treasurer; and to the City Auditor, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
