"A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO NEGOTIATE AND PURCHASE A PORTION OF LAND PARTICULARLY KNOWN AS LOT NO. 4677, OWNED BY MRS. MANUELA ENCABO, CONTAINING AN AREA OF 57,295.5 SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT BARANGAY GUBAC, THIS CITY, FOR USE AS SITE OF THE "ASENSO VILLAGE" PROJECT"
WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, pursuant to its mandate to take the principal role in the provision of shelter to the homeless constituents of the city, is relentlessly pursuing the establishment of the City's Housing and Resettlement Projects also known as the "Asenso Village," within the different barangays of the city;"
WHEREAS, in view thereof, a parcel of land known as portion of Lot 4667, registered in the name of Mrs. Manuela Encabo, containing an area of 57,295.50 square meters, situated at Barangay Gubac, this City, is found to be an ideal site for such priority development project, such that its acquisition by the City Government needs to be negotiated;
WHEREAS, given the foregoing, it is thus necessary to authorize the City Chief Executive to facilitate the negotiation and purchase of such identified area;
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ariel J. Lim, Jr., be it 
RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to negotiate and purchase a parcel of land particularly known as Lot No. 4677, owned by Mrs. Manuela Encabo, containing an area of 57,295.5 square meters, situated at Barangay Gubac, this City, for use as site of the "Asenso Village" project. 
RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information and appropriate action.
