RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0787 (Co-Sponsors: Committees on Games Amusements & Sports, on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation and on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON THIRD AND FINAL READING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 063 AND ORDAINING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2024-574, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 6 AND 8 OF CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2022-519, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROMULGATING THE GUIDELINES ON THE GRANT OF MONETARY INCENTIVES TO ANY INDIVIDUAL, PAIR, GROUP OR TEAM, INCLUDING THEIR RESPECTIVE COACHES OR TRAINERS, WHO HAVE BEEN DECLARED AND RANK WITHIN THE TOP THREE (3) WINNERS OF ANY SPORTS, SKILLS, ARTS AND ACADEMIC COMPETITIONS IN THE REGIONAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL EVENTS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 063, authored by Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, entitled: "An Ordinance Amending Sections 6 and 8 of City Ordinance No. 2022-519, entitled: "An Ordinance Promulgating The Guidelines On The Grant Of Monetary Incentives To Any Individual, Pair, Group Or Team, Including Their Respective Coaches Or Trainers, Who Have Been Declared And Rank Within The Top Three (3) Winners Of Any Sports, Skills, Arts And Academic Competitions In The Regional, National And International Events And Appropriating Funds Therefor," was thoroughly considered by this august body on First and Second Reading and has undergone and complied with all the required processes following the determination of its necessity and practicability, hence its consideration on Third and Final Reading was undertaken; WHEREAS, the measure as it stands merits the body's final action and approval; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Third and Final Reading Draft Ordinance No. 063 and ordaining the same as City Ordinance No. 2024-574 entitled: "An Ordinance Amending Sections 6 and 8 of City Ordinance No. 2022-519, entitled: "An Ordinance Promulgating The Guidelines On The Grant Of Monetary Incentives To Any Individual, Pair, Group Or Team, Including Their Respective Coaches Or Trainers, Who Have Been Declared And Rank Within The Top Three (3) Winners Of Any Sports, Skills, Arts And Academic Competitions In The Regional, National And International Events And Appropriating Funds Therefor."
