RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0786 (Sponsor: Committees on Games Amusements & Sports, on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation and on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 063, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 6 AND 8 OF CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2022-519, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROMULGATING THE GUIDELINES ON THE GRANT OF MONETARY INCENTIVES TO ANY INDIVIDUAL, PAIR, GROUP OR TEAM, INCLUDING THEIR RESPECTIVE COACHES OR TRAINERS, WHO HAVE BEEN DECLARED AND RANK WITHIN THE TOP THREE (3) WINNERS OF ANY SPORTS, SKILLS, ARTS AND ACADEMIC COMPETITIONS IN THE REGIONAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL EVENTS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR," AND FOR ITS CONSIDERATION ON THIRD READING; WHEREAS, this body, after thorough consideration of the substance and merits of Draft Ordinance No. 063 on Second Reading, finds the measure very relevant and most applicable under the present circumstances; WHEREAS, following the deliberation and discussion by the body through the Committee on Games, Amusement & Sports, Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation and Committee on Finance and Appropriations, which facilitated its consideration on Second Reading, the body deems the draft sufficient so as to warrant its treatment on Third Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Second Reading Draft Ordinance No. 063, entitled: "An Ordinance Amending Sections 6 and 8 of City Ordinance No. 2022-519, entitled: "An Ordinance Promulgating The Guidelines On The Grant Of Monetary Incentives To Any Individual, Pair, Group Or Team, Including Their Respective Coaches Or Trainers, Who Have Been Declared And Rank Within The Top Three (3) Winners Of Any Sports, Skills, Arts And Academic Competitions In The Regional, National And International Events And Appropriating Funds Therefor," And For Its Consideration On Third Reading.
