RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0776 (Sponsor: Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO DIRECT ALL CONCERNED OFFICIALS OF THE PAGADIAN CITY INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE (PCIC) TO IMMEDIATELY SUBMIT THE REQUIRED PERTINENT DOCUMENTS FOR THE DIFFERENT CURRICULUM PROGRAMS TO THE COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION (CHED) FOR THE ISSUANCE OF THE CERTIFICATE OF PROGRAM COMPLIANCE (COPC) AND/OR INSTITUTIONAL RECOGNITION" WHEREAS, this august body expressed concern and alarm over the existence and current standing of the Pagadian City International College (PCIC) where information revealed that several prerequisites and other required pertinent documents necessary for the issuance of Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) and/or institutional recognition by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) are yet to be complied with by the said educational institution; WHEREAS, given the importance of the foregoing matter, this body, in its desire and effort to ensure that the delivery of quality tertiary education to the people of the Pagadian City, deems it cogently necessary to direct the concerned officials of PCIC to immediately comply the directive of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) by submitting and providing all the required documents necessary for the issuance of the program and/or institutional recognition, thus requesting the Honorable City Mayor for the purpose is most appropriate; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To, be it RESOLVED to earnestly request, as it is hereby earnestly requested the Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to direct all concerned officials of the Pagadian City International College (PCIC) to immediately submit the required pertinent documents for the different curriculum programs to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for the issuance of the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) and/or Institutional Recognition. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for favorable consideration; to Mr. Robert Peter S. Ancheta, OIC School Administrator-PCIC, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY. I HEREBY CERTIFY to the correctness of the foregoing resolution.
