RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0769 (Sponsor: Committee on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND OFFICIALLY ADOPTING THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT INVESTMENT PROGRAM (LDIP) FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2022-2027 OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, pursuant to its mandate under the Local Government Code of 1991, the City Government of Pagadian formulated the Calendar Year 2022-2027 Local Development Investment Program (LDIP), which program was favorably endorsed by the City Development Council, through Resolution No. 3, series of 2024, and forwarded the same to the Sangguniang Panlungsod for adoption; WHEREAS, the adoption of the LDIP was anchored on the following objectives: (1) modify, guide, direct, control or otherwise elicited the desired private sector response in order to accelerate local economic development; (2) raise the level of socio-cultural well-being; (3) improve the standard of public services, utilities, and infrastructures; and (4) attain the desired urban form in the Comprehensive Land-Use Plan (CLUP) and the general welfare goals of the CDP; WHEREAS, upon careful perusal and evaluation, the body, in support of the favorable recommendation of the Committee on Finance & Appropriations, to which the foregoing matter was initially referred, deems it imperatively necessary to approve and officially adopt the same, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to approve and officially adopt the Local Development Investment Program (LDIP) for Calendar Year 2022-2027 of the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished the Honorable City Mayor; the City Planning and Development Office; the Department of the Interior and Local Government through the City Local Government Operations Officer, Ms. Maribel C.
