RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0764 (Sponsor: Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co) "A RESOLUTION STRONGLY CONDEMNING THE BRUTAL AND TREACHEROUS KILLING OF CALOY T. ANDAL, AN EMPLOYEE OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, AND CALLING ALL CONCERNED LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES TO COLLABORATE FOR THE IMMEDIATE RESOLUTION OF THE CASE AND BRING THE PERPETRATORS TO THE BAR OF JUSTICE" WHEREAS, official report revealed that in the late afternoon of June 8, 2024, Mr. Caloy T. Andal, a city government employee assigned at the City Tourism Office, was shot to death by still unidentified assailants at Barangay San Pedro, this city; WHEREAS, such a brutal and treacherous act which senselessly took the life of an innocent and dedicated public servant is clearly premeditated and deliberate that could have severe effects to the volatile peace and order situation of the City of Pagadian; WHEREAS, this dastardly and cowardly act of the perpetrators is deplorable and reprehensible and by all means should be condemned in the highest terms, thus calling all concerned law enforcement agencies to immediately resolve this dreadful incident in the interest of justice; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to strongly condemn the brutal and treacherous killing of Caloy T. Andal, an employee of the City Government of Pagadian, and calling all concerned law enforcement agencies to collaborate for the immediate resolution of the case and bring the perpetrators to the bar of justice. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Pagadian City Police Station through the Chief of Police; to the Head, National Bureau of Investigation, Zamboanga del Sur District Office, Provincial Capitol Complex, Santo Nino District, this city, and all others concerned, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
