RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0754 (Sponsor: Committee on Health and Social Services) "A RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY INFORMING THE HONORABLE SANGGUNIANG PANLALAWIGAN OF THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR THAT THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD (14TH CITY COUNCIL) HAD ALREADY ENACTED CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2023-549 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE "HEALTH AND SANITATION CODE OF 2023" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Zamboanga del Sur, through Resolution No. 1405-2023, encouraged all Local Sanggunians of Component Local Government Units to pass, approve and/or update their respective Sanitation Code; WHEREAS, the body, in view of the information provided by the concerned Committee-to which the foregoing matter was referred for initial consideration-that the Sangguniang Panlungsod (14th City Council) had already enacted City Ordinance No. 2023-549 otherwise known as the "Health and Sanitation Code of 2023," dated 16 August 2023, deems it cogently necessary to inform the Honorable Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Zamboanga del Sur on the matter, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to respectfully inform, as it is hereby respectfully informed the Honorable Sangguniang Panlalawigan of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur that the Sangguniang Panlungsod (14th City Council) had already enacted City Ordinance No. 2023-549 otherwise known as the "Health and Sanitation Code of 2023." RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Zamboanga del Sur, through His Honor, Vice Governor Roseller L.
