RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0733 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation & Committee on Barangay Affairs) "A RESOLUTION REMANDING, WITHOUT ACTION, TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF BULATOK ITS BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 02, S. 2024, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE UNIFIED FEES AND CHARGES OF THE BARANGAY AND INCREASE OF FEES AND CHARGES ASSESSED AND COLLECTED FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATION, CLEARANCES, FILING AND SIMILAR SERVICES RENDERED BY BARANGAY BULATOK" WHEREAS, the Barangay Council of Bulatok, this city, enacted Barangay Ordinance No. 02, s. 2024 entitled: "An Ordinance Adopting The Unified Fees And Charges Of The Barangay And Increase Of Fees And Charges Assessed And Collected For The Issuance Of Certification, Clearances, Filing And Similar Services Rendered By Barangay Bulatok," and submitted the same for the review and confirmation by this august body pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREAS, the body, in consideration of the findings of the concerned Committees, to which the foregoing matter was referred for initial evaluation, deems it imperatively necessary to remand the said Barangay Ordinance No. 02 to the Barangay Council of Bulatok with a further advise to institute necessary amendments and/or adjustments particularly on the amount of fees and charges specified thereat to conform with the provisions under Republic Act No. 11032, otherwise known as "Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018;" NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to remand, as this body hereby remands, without action, to the Barangay Council of Bulatok its Barangay Ordinance No. 02, s. 2024, entitled: "An Ordinance Adopting The Unified Fees And Charges Of The Barangay And Increase Of Fees And Charges Assessed And Collected For The Issuance Of Certification, Clearances, Filing And Similar Services Rendered By Barangay Bulatok." RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Bulatok through the Punong Barangay, for its information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
