RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0705 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Health and Social Services; Committee on Finance and Appropriations and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON THIRD AND FINAL READING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 055, AND ORDAINING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2024-567, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROMULGATING POLICIES AND GUIDELINES PROMOTING THE PHYSICAL FITNESS AND HEALTH OF SENIOR CITIZENS AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PWD) BY PROVIDING AND/ OR ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATE AND ACCESSIBLE WALKWAYS/ PATHWAYS TO ALL PUBLIC OPEN SPACES AND OTHER GOVERNMENT RECREATIONAL FACILITIES IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN MORE PARTICULARLY THE CITY PLAZA LUZ, THE ROTUNDA HILLS AND THE PAGADIAN BAYWALK" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 055, authored by Honorable Vice Mayor Baldomero Fernandez, have been thoroughly considered by this august body through the Joint Committees on Health & Social Services, on Finance & Appropriations and on Laws, Rules & Policy Formulation, with its merits, importance and relevance procedurally tackled on First and Second Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Third Reading and Final Reading Draft Ordinance No. 055, and ordaining the same as City Ordinance No. 2024-567 entitled: "An Ordinance promulgating policies and guidelines promoting the physical fitness and health of senior citizens and Persons With Disabilities (PWD) by providing and/ or establishing appropriate and accessible walkways/ pathways to all public open spaces and other government recreational facilities in the City of Pagadian more particularly the City Plaza Luz, The Rotunda Hills and the Pagadian Baywalk.
