Bajamunde, Jr.) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON FIRST READING, DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 059, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ADJUSTMENT/INCREASE IN THE DAILY MINIMUM WAGE RATE OF CASUAL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN PATICULARLY THOSE CHARGED TO LUMP SUM AND SAVINGS INCLUDING THOSE WORKERS WHOSE SERVICES ARE ENGAGED THROUGH JOB ORDER TO THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE (P381.00) PESOS, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFORE,"AND SCHEDULING THE SAME FOR SECOND READING" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor requested with utmost urgency for the enactment of an ordinance increasing the minimum wage of casual employees from the current P351.00/day to P381.00/day pursuant to Wage Order No. R1X, dated October 16, 2023; WHEREAS, considering the urgency and importance of the foregoing matter, the Honorable Floor Leader in concurrence of the Chairman of the Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, presented for consideration on First Reading a proposed ordinance later denominated as Draft Ordinance No. 059; WHEREAS, the same Draft Ordinance No. 059 is favorably recommended for further consideration and deliberation on Second Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr., be it RESOLVED, as this body hereby resolves to approve on First Reading Draft Ordinance No. 059, entitled: "An Ordinance Approving The Adjustment/Increase In The Daily Minimum Wage Rate Of Casual Employees Of The City Government Of Pagadian Paticularly Those Charged To Lump Sum And Savings Including Those Workers Whose Services Are Engaged Through Job Order To Three Hundred Eighty-One (P381.00) Pesos, And Appropriating Funds Therefore," and scheduling the same for Second Reading.
