RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0650 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Games, Amusement and Sports, Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 052, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE CITY ANTI-ILLEGAL GAMBLING TASK FORCE THEREBY REGULATING ALL FORMS OF ILLEGAL GAMBLING, PRESCRIBING MEASURES, PROHIBITED ACTS AND PENALTIES FOR ITS EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION, PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES," AND FOR ITS CONSIDERATION ON THIRD READING" WHEREAS, in accordance with legislative processes, the body have considered on Second Reading Draft Ordinance No. 052; WHEREAS, upon careful perusal and evaluation and finding the same within the ambit of authority of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, the same was approved for consideration on Third Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Second Reading Draft Ordinance No. 052, entitled: "An Ordinance Establishing the City Anti-Illegal Gambling Task Force Thereby Regulating All Forms of Illegal Gambling, Prescribing Measures, Prohibited Acts and Penalties for its Effective Implementation, Providing Funds Therefor, and For Other Purposes," and for its consideration on Third Reading.
