Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DONATION OF ADDITIONAL LOT TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT BUREAU-DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES (EMB-DENR), REGIONAL OFFICE IX, INVOLVING LOT 4, BLOCK 3-A OF THE PRC-MCO SUBDIVISION PLAN, OWNED BY THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, CONTAINING AN AREA OF ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED ELEVEN POINT THIRTY (1,611.30) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER AT BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, AND GRANTING AUTHORITY TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER AND SIGN THE SAID DEED FOR THE PURPOSE" WHEREAS, by virtue of Resolution No. 2023-0542 passed by the 14th City Council during its 55th Regular Session held on November 15, 2023, the City Government of Pagadian through the Honorable City Mayor donated in favor of the Environmental Management Bureau-Department of Environment and Natural Resources (EMB-DENR), Regional Office 9, a City Government-owned parcel of land known as Lot 1, Block 3-A, containing an area of Two Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-Two (2,592) square meters, situated at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center in Barangay Balintawak, this city, for use as site of its Regional Office 9; WHEREAS, the EMB-DENR-Regional Office 9, through its Regional Director and, by way of a letter dated February 5, 2024, sought for the donation of additional lot area to be utilized for the proposed construction of a staff house for the benefit of the relocated personnel particularly the adjacent lot of their present site known as Lot 4, Block 3-A, covering an area of 1,611.30 square meters; WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor favorably indorsed the same with a copy of a Deed of Donation for the purpose with a request for authority to correspondingly sign the document formalizing the allocation of such additional area which document, upon review, is deemed in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the donation of additional lot to the Environmental Management Bureau-Department of Environment and Natural Resources (EMB-DENR), Regional Office 9, involving Lot 4, Block 3-A of the PRC-MCO Subdivision Plan, owned by the City Government of Pagadian, containing an area of One Thousand Six Hundred Eleven Point Thirty (1,611.30) square meters, situated at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center in Barangay Balintawak, this city. RESOLVED FURTHER, to authorize the Honorable City Mayor to enter and sign the foregoing Deed of Donation for the purpose. RESOLVED, FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his reference and appropriate action; the City Legal Officer; to Dir. Gilbert C. Gonzales, EMB Bureau Director, OIC-Assistant Secretary for Luzon and Visayas, DENR Compound, Visayas Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City; Regional Director Alex D. Jimenez, EMB-RO 9, this city; and all other offices concerned, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
