RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0633 (Sponsor: Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 054 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE GUIDELINES IN THE ISSUANCES AND REVOCATION OF BUSINESS PERMIT/LICENSE OF THE DESIGNATED NON-FINANCIAL BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONS (DNFBPS) PURSUANT TO R.A. 9160, ALSO KNOWN AS THE "ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING ACT OF 2001, AS AMENDED," AND FOR ITS CONSIDERATION ON THIRD READING" WHEREAS, in accordance with legislative processes, the body have considered on Second Reading Draft Ordinance No. 054; WHEREAS, upon careful perusal and evaluation and finding the same within the ambit of authority of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, the same was approved for consideration on Third Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Second Reading Draft Ordinance No. 054 entitled: "An Ordinance Providing for the Guidelines in the Issuances and Revocation of Business Permit/License of the Designated Non-Financial Business and Professions (DNFBPs) pursuant to R.A. 9160, also known as the "Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001, as amended," and for its consideration on Third Reading.
