"A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ALLOCATE AND GRANT THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND (P100,000.00) PESOS, OUT OF ANY AVAILABLE FUND SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT, AS MONETARY REWARD TO ANY PERSON OR GROUP OF PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ARREST OF A CERTAIN CIEJAY CORDOVA COLOT, SR.--THE MOST WANTED PERSON FOR THE CRIME OF CARNAPPING IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN"
WHEREAS, sometime last November 18, 2023, at 7:09 PM., Trackers Team of Kumalarang Municipal Police Station, together with the personnel of the Pagadian City Police Station, Regional Intelligence Unit 9, Provincial Intelligence Unit, Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office, ZDS Maritime Police Station, jointly conducted Intel Driven Operation against wanted person at Purok 3, Barangay Picanan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur, which resulted to the arrest of a certain Ciejay Cordova Colot, Sr., with standing Warrant of Arrest for violation of the "New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016;" 
WHEREAS, the successful operation was made possible through a meticulous investigation conducted by the operatives and the provision of vital and material information from a confidential informant; 
WHEREAS, premises considered, this body, in consideration of the recommendation of the concerned Committee, to which the foregoing matter was initially referred, deems it necessary to grant monetary reward to the person or group of persons responsible in providing vital and material information that eventually led to the arrest of the alleged suspect thus, authorizing the Honorable City Mayor for the purpose is in order and most appropriate; 
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it
RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to grant the amount of One Hundred Thousand (P100,000.00) Pesos, out of any available fund sources of the City Government, as monetary reward to any person or group of persons responsible for the arrest of a certain Ciejay Cordova Colot, Sr.--the most wanted person for the crime of carnapping in the City of Pagadian.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, for his appropriate consideration; the City Legal Officer; the City Budget Officer; the City Accountant; the City Treasurer; and the City Auditor, for information, guidance and reference.
