Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO PURCHASE, BY WAY OF A DEED OF ABSOLUTE SALE, A PARCEL OF LAND OWNED BY ARCELIE D. SARMIENTO, REPRESENTED BY ALMA MARIE D. SARMIENTO KNOWN AS LOT NO. 14451-E-1, COVERED BY TRANSFER CERTIFICATE TITLE NO. 4,249, WITH TAX DECLARATION NO. 2019-000353, CONTAINING AN AREA OF THIRTEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED NINETY-ONE (13,491) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE MILLION THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-TWO THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY (P3,372,750.00) PESOS, WHICH AREA SHALL BE USED/UTILIZED AS AN ADDITIONAL SITE OF THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod (13th City Council), by virtue of Resolution No. 2019-0038, authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to negotiate the purchase of parcels of land, preferably the adjacent lots, for use as additional site of the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center at Barangay Balintawak, this City; WHEREAS, in view thereof, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter, informed this body that a parcel of land-adjacent to the present regional center site-known as Lot No. 14451-E-1, specifically covered by Tax Declaration No. 2019-000353, with an area of 13,491 square meters, more or less, is being offered for sale to the City Government in the amount based on the appraised value of P250.00 per square meter set by the City Appraisal Committee through its Resolution No. 1, series of 2024, and for which a request for an authority to purchase the same is being sought by the City Chief Executive, which request merited the support and concurrence of this august body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to purchase, by way of a deed of absolute sale, a parcel of land executed by Arcelie D. Sarmiento, represented by Alma D. Sarmiento known as Lot No. 14451-E-1, covered by Transfer Certificate Title No. 4,249, with Tax Declaration No. 2019-000353, containing an area of Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-One (13,491) square meters, situated at Barangay Balintawak, this city, in the amount of Three Million Three Hundred Seventy-Two Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty (P3,372,750.00) pesos, which area shall be used/utilized as an additional site of the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; to the City Legal Officer; and to the Pagadian Regional Center Management Coordinating Office, for their information, guidance and appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
