RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0551 (Sponsor: Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE DISTRICT ENGINEER, FIRST ENGINEERING DISTRICT-PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS (DPWH), THIS CITY, TO IMMEDIATELY UNDERTAKE THE NECESSARY REPAIRS ALONG PORTION OF THE NATIONAL ROAD PARTICULARLY THE PORTION FRONTING THE BDO-RIZAL AVENUE BRANCH GOING TO CAMP ABELON, LUMBIA DISTRICT, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, it was brought to this august body the worsening condition of the portion of the national road particularly the portion fronting the BDO-Rizal Avenue Branch going to Camp Abelon, Lumbia District, that was ultimately damaged which condition is causing inconvenience to the motorists and the riding public; WHEREAS, it is thus now necessary for the concerned agency of the government to immediately inspect, assess and immediately undertake necessary repair works on the damaged segments of the national road to preclude further damage thereon as well as to ensure the safety and convenience of the public; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the District Engineer, First Engineering District-Province of Zamboanga del Sur, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), this city, to immediately undertake the necessary repairs along portion of the National Road particularly the portion fronting the BDO-Rizal Avenue Branch going to Camp Abelon, Lumbia District, this city. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to District Engineer Reynerio T. Alcachupas, First Engineering District, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, this city, for his immediate favorable action; to the Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information and support.
