RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0536 (Sponsor: Committee on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE BARANGAY COUNCILS OF DEBOROK, SAN JOSE, AND BALINTAWAK, ALL OF THIS CITY, TO ADHERE AND COMPLY WITH THE FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE COMMISSION ON AUDIT IN ORDER NOT TO BE METED WITH SANCTIONS AND INSTITUTE APPROPRIATE CORRECTIVE MEASURES PURSUANT TO THE DULY ACCOMPLISHED AGENCY ACTION PLAN AND STATUS OF IMPLEMENTATION (AAPSI) AS WELL AS ITS RULES AND REGULATIONS OR THE GENERAL GUIDELINES OF ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING PROCEDURES" WHEREAS, this august body received a copy of the Annual Audit Report from the Commission on Audit (COA) of Barangays Deborok, San Jose, and Balintawak, all of this city, for the years ended December 31, 2020, 2021 and 2022; WHEREAS, the Committee on Finance and Appropriations, to which the foregoing concern was referred, recommended for the concerned barangay to strictly adhere and comply with the findings and recommendations of the Commission on Audit and institute corrective actions pursuant to the duly accomplished Agency Action Plan and Status of Implementation (AAPSI), hence, requesting the Honorable City Mayor for the purpose is most in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to direct the Barangay Councils of Deborok, San Jose, and Balintawak, all of this city, to adhere and comply with the findings and recommendations of the Commission on Audit in order not to be meted with sanctions and institute appropriate corrective measures pursuant to the duly accomplished Agency Action Plan and Status of Implementation (AAPSI) as well as its rules and regulations or the general guidelines of accounting and auditing procedures. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his favorable action; and to the Barangay Councils of Deborok, San Jose, and Balintawak, through their respective Punong Barangay, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
