RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0522 (Sponsor: Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr.) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ACCEPT, FOR AND BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DONATION OF ONE (1) UNIT MOBILE CLINIC INCLUDING THE EQUIPMENT THEREIN IN THE AMOUNT OF SIX MILLION NINE HUNDRED SEVENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND (P6,977,000.00) PESOS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (DOH), THROUGH THE ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA CENTER FOR HEALTH DEVELOPMENT, AND TO SIGN THE DEED OF DONATION FOR THE PURPOSE" WHEREAS, the Department of Health, through the Zamboanga Peninsula Center for Health Development, will be donating one (1) Unit Mobile Clinic including the equipment therein to the City Government of Pagadian for use in the delivery of quality health care and for which the City Mayor has sought the consideration of the body to accept the same and authorize him to sign the Deed of Donation; WHEREAS, the body has thoroughly considered the same and found it most beneficial to the City Government, hence, its acceptance will be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr., be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to accept, for and behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the donation of one (1) Unit Mobile Clinic including the equipment therein in the amount of Six Million Nine Hundred Seventy-Seven Thousand (P6,977,000.00) Pesos from the Department of Health (DOH), through the Zamboanga Peninsula Center for Health Development, and to sign the Deed of Donation for the purpose. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, for favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; to the Department of Health (DOH) through Dr. Abdullah B. Dumama, Jr., MD, Undersecretary, Field Implementation and Coordination Team-Mindanao; and to OIC-Regional Director Joshua D. Brillantes, DOH-Regional Office IX, for reference and guidance.
