RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0519 (Sponsor: Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL LAND USE PERMIT (SLUP) TO ST. PETER CHAPELS MINDANAO WEST, INCORPORATED, OVER PARCELS OF LAND KNOWN AS LOT NO. 280-B-1-A, PSD-09-053708, AND LOT NO. 280-B-2, PSD-09-027642, CONTAINING A TOTAL AREA OF 3,299 SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT BARANGAY DAO, THIS CITY, PURPOSELY FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF ST. PETER CHAPEL FUNERAL PARLOR (CATEGORY I FUNERAL/CHAPEL/MORTUARY) WITH EMBALMING FACILITIES" WHEREAS, the St. Peter Chapels Mindanao West, Incorporated, through its President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Artemio B. Vitangcol III, sought the intervention of the City Government for the approval of their request for Land Use Permit over parcels of land situated at Purok Curvada, Barangay Dao, this city, purposely for the establishment and operation of St. Peter Chapel Funeral Parlor with embalming facilities (Category I Funeral/Chapel/Mortuary); WHEREAS, taking into consideration the current classification of the afore-mentioned parcels of land upon which the project will be established as provided under the City Zoning Ordinance vis-a-vis the greater contribution and impact of such business activity to the economy of the city and with due recognition of Resolution No. 2023-43 of the Sangguniang Barangay of Dao which, in gist, interposed no objection to the proposed project, deems it appropriate and in order to approve the request for a Special Land Use Permit (SLUP); NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to grant, as this body hereby grants a Special Land Use Permit (SLUP) to St. Peter Chapels Mindanao West, Incorporated, over parcels of land known as Lot No. 280-B-1-A, Psd-09-053708, and Lot No. 280-B-2, Psd-09-027642, containing a total area of 3,299 square meters, situated at Barangay Dao, this city, purposely for the establishment and operation of St. Peter Chapel Funeral Parlor (Category I Funeral/Chapel/Mortuary) with embalming facilities. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished the City Planning & Development Coordinator, this city; and the St. Peter Chapels Mindanao West, Inc., through its President and CEO, Mr. Artemio B.
