RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0504 (Sponsor: Committee on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO PURCHASE SEVEN (7) UNITS PICK-UP TYPE VEHICLES (BRAND NEW) IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF TEN MILLION FOUR HUNDRED NINETY-NINE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY (P10,499,860.00) PESOS, TO BE TAKEN FROM ACCOUNT CODE NO. RF23-1000-2a-1g, PURCHASE OF MOTOR VEHICLE/MOTORCYCLE" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor, in a letter, requested for a legislative authority to purchase Seven (7) Units Pick-Up Type Motor Vehicles (Brand New) in the total amount of Ten Million Four Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty (P10,499,860.00) Pesos; WHEREAS, to ensure the attainment of the purpose to which the motor vehicles are to be purchased, the proposed procurement shall be undertaken under the following specifications, to wit: Seven (7) Units Pick-up type Vehicle (Brand New) Engine Size 2.4L Engine Displacement 2,393 cc Number of Cylinders 4 Number of Valve 16-Valve DOHC Variable Nozzle Turbo with Air-cooled Intercooler Transmission 6-Speed Manual (4x4) Maximum Output (ps/rpm) 150/3,400 Maximum Torque (nm/rpm) 400/1600 - 2,000 Fuel Capacity/Type 80 Liters/Diesel Brakes Ventilated Disc (Front) Drum Type (Rear) Tire and Wheel 265/65 R17 Alloy Seating Capacity 5 Overall Dimension 5,365x1,855x1815 (mm) WHEREAS, with the recommendation of the Committee on Finance and Appropriations to which said matter was initially referred, this body finds the acquisition of the above-specified motor vehicles to be urgent and necessary for the purpose mentioned, thus the extension of the authority sought is in order and most appropriate; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to purchase Seven (7) Units Pick-Up Type Motor Vehicles (Brand New) in the total amount of Ten Million Four Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty (P10,499,860.00) Pesos, to be taken from Account Code No. RF23-1000-2a-1g, Purchase of Motor Vehicle/Motorcycle. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, the City Budget Officer, the City Accountant, the City Treasurer and the City Auditor, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
