A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE DISTRICT ENGINEER, FIRST ENGINEERING DISTRICT-PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS (DPWH), THIS CITY, TO CONDUCT THOROUGH INSPECTION AND ASSESSMENT ON THE WORSENING ROAD CONDITION ALONG J.P. "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE DISTRICT ENGINEER, FIRST ENGINEERING DISTRICT-PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS (DPWH), THIS CITY, TO CONDUCT THOROUGH INSPECTION AND ASSESSMENT ON THE WORSENING ROAD CONDITION ALONG J.P. RIZAL AVENUE MORE PARTICULARLY THE STRETCH FROM JUNCTION F.S. PAJARES AVENUE TO CANUTO M.S. ENERIO STREET AND, IF WARRANTED, INSTITUTE APPROPRIATE ROAD MAINTENANCE THEREAT"

WHEREAS, the worsening condition of the road along J.P. Rizal Avenue more particularly the stretch from F.S. Pajares Avenue to Canuto M.S. Enerio cannot be understated as it caused this august body to be concerned and alarmed over the potential hazard that might brought to the motorists and pedestrians traversing the said road segment;

WHEREAS, given the foregoing predicament, it is therefore necessary to institute appropriate measures to ensure the safety and protection of the general public, thus calling the attention of the Department of Public Works and Highways who has sole jurisdiction over roads classified as national highways to immediately conduct inspection and assessment of the said road segment and thereafter initiate the necessary repair and maintenance thereat is most appropriate at this prevailing circumstance;
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it 
RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the District Engineer, First Engineering District-Province of Zamboanga del Sur, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), this city, to conduct thorough inspection and assessment on the worsening road condition along J.P. Rizal Avenue more particularly the stretch from F.S. Pajares Avenue to Canuto M.S. Enerio Street and, if warranted, institute appropriate road maintenance thereat.

RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to District Engineer Reynerio T. Alcachupas, First Engineering District, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, this city, for his immediate favorable action; to the Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information and support.
