RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0489 (Sponsor: Committee on Health and Social Services) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 041 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE INSTITUTIONALIZING A DRUG-FREE PUBLIC WORKPLACE IN ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICES AND, FOR THE PURPOSE, MANDATING THE CONDUCT OF DRUG TESTING FOR ALL CITY ELECTIVE OFFICIALS AS WELL AS ALL BARANGAY ELECTIVE AND APPOINTIVE OFFICIALS TO INCLUDE ITS EMPLOYEES/WORKERS" AND FOR ITS CONSIDERATION ON THIRD AND FINAL READING" WHEREAS, in accordance with legislative processes, the body have considered on Second Reading Draft Ordinance No. 041; WHEREAS, upon careful perusal and evaluation and finding the same within the ambit of authority of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, the same was approved for consideration on Third Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Second Reading, Draft Ordinance No. 041 entitled: "An Ordinance institutionalizing a drug-free public workplace in all government offices and, for the purpose, mandating the conduct of drug testing for all City Elective Officials as well as all Barangay Elective and Appointive Officials to include its employees/workers" and for its consideration on Third and Final Reading.
