RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0481 (Sponsor: Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION FORMALLY AND OFFICIALLY NAMING THE CITY GOVERNMENT'S HOUSING AND RESETTLEMENT SUBDIVISION PROJECTS IN VARIOUS BARANGAYS OF THE CITY AS "ASENSO VILLAGE"" WHEREAS, consistent with its thrust and mandate to provide decent housing sites for the landless and homeless residents of the city as well as those family-victims of calamities including the informal settlers whose dwellings were affected by infrastructure development or calamity prevention/mitigation projects, the City Government of Pagadian under this present administration have allocated and designated government-owned parcel of lands in the various barangays of the city as housing and resettlement areas; WHEREAS, this august body welcomes these noble development projects endeavored toward addressing one of the basic human needs for a decent shelter, such that it is thus most appropriate to formally and officially name the same as "Asenso Village" to better describe the city's housing and resettlement subdivision project in the various barangays; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to formally and officially name the City Government's Housing and Resettlement Subdivision Projects in various barangays of the city as "Asenso Village." RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; for his information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
