RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0473 (Sponsor: Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr.) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO EXTEND THE FREE USE BY THE PHILIPPINE REGULATORY COMMISSION (PRC) OF ITS OCCUPIED OFFICE SPACE AT THE FOURTH FLOOR OF THE CITY COMMERCIAL CENTER (C3) EXCEPT THE COST OF THE COMMON UTILITY SERVICE AREA (CUSA) AND THE WATER AND ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR FROM JANUARY 1, 2023 TO DECEMBER 31, 2023" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor transmitted the letter-request from Regional Director Alfonso C. Viloria of the Professional Regulation Commission, Regional Office 9, for the extension of the free use of an office space they have occupied at the C3 Mall from January 1, 2023 up to December 31, 2023, with a further request of the Honorable City Mayor for authority to grant the said request; WHEREAS, the request was anchored on the fact that they lack the necessary funding for the payment of rental due to their acceptance of the newly constructed regional office at President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center at Barangay Balintawak, this city, but sad to note, they could not as yet transfer due to some post-acceptance challenges and unforeseen contingencies; WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor in acceding to the request sought for authority to extend the free use of their occupied office space except the cost of the Common Utility Service Area (CUSA) and the water and electricity consumption, for a period from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr., be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby the Honorable City Mayor to extend the free use by the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) of its occupied office space at the Fourth Floor of the City Commercial Center (C3) except the Cost of the Common Utility Service Area (CUSA) and the water and electricity consumption for a period of one (1) year from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; to the C3 Manager; and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) through Regional Director Alfonso c.
