"A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO ENTER AND SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM (DOT)- REGIONAL OFFICE 9, AND THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS (DPWH)-REGIONAL OFFICE IX, FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CONCRETING OF ROADS UNDER THE LOCAL ROAD PROJECTS OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT"

WHEREAS, the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is currently promoting and developing tourism destination through the DOT-DPWH Convergence Program for Tourism Road Infrastructure Project Prioritization (TRIPP) also known as the Tourism Road Convergence Program;
WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian is among the LGU beneficiaries of the said program with the herein projects, viz:
WHEREAS, information has it that the pursuit of the foregoing projects will require the formulation of a Memorandum of Agreement by and between the City Government and the concerned national government agencies for which the Honorable City Mayor has to be formally clothed with authority to enter into the agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr., be it 
RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to enter and sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Tourism (DOT)-Regional Office IX, and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Regional Office IX, for the implementation of the concreting of roads under the Local Road Projects of the National Government, namely: 
Concreting of Road leading to Kendis Cave at Barangay Datagan; and
NRJ Pagadian City-Zamboanga City Road leading to Palpalan Peak.

RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for immediate favorable consideration; to Regional Director Crisanta Marlene P. Rodriguez, Department of Tourism-Regional Office IX, Ground Floor, Samboangan Bayanihan Cooperative Building, General Vicente Alvarez Street corner Claveria Street Zamboanga City, to Regional Director Cayamombao D. Dia, CESO III, Department of Public Works and Highways-Regional Office IX, Veterans Avenue, Tetuan, Zamboanga City, to the City Legal Officer and all other offices concerned, for information and reference.
