RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0464 (Sponsor: Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety) "A RESOLUTION REMANDING, WITHOUT ACTION, TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF BALANGASAN, THIS CITY, ITS BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 2006-23-122, S. 2023, ENTITLED: "A RESOLUTION DECLARING BARANGAY BALANGASAN UNDER THE STATE OF CALAMITY," WITH THE RECOMMENDATION TO RECONCILE THEIR DATA WITH THAT OF THE CITY SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE (CSWDO) AND THE OFFICE OF CIVIL DEFENSE (OCD)" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Balangasan, transmitted to this august body its Barangay Resolution No. 2006-23-122, series of 2023, entitled: "A Resolution Declaring Barangay Balangasan under the State of Calamity," for approval; WHEREAS, the body, in consideration of the recommendation of the Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety, to which the foregoing concern was referred for initial consideration, deems it in order to remand, without action, the said Barangay Resolution, with an advise to reconcile their data with that of the City Social Welfare and Development Office and the Office of Civil Defense; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED to remand, as this body hereby remands, without action, to the Barangay Council of Balangasan, this city, its Barangay Resolution No. 2006-23-122, s. 2023, entitled: "A Resolution Declaring Barangay Balangasan under the State of Calamity," with the recommendation to reconcile their data with that of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and the Office of Civil Defense (OCD). RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Balangasan through its Punong Barangay; and to the City Local Government Operations Officer, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
