RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0463 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Planning and Landed Estates and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION INTERPOSING NO OBJECTION TO THE APPLICATION OF THE ST. PETER CHAPELS MINDANAO WEST, INC., FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF FUNERAL PARLOR PROJECT-CATEGORY I FUNERAL CHAPEL/MORTUARY WITH EMBALMING FACILITIES AT BARANGAY DAO, THIS CITY, PROVIDED HOWEVER, THAT THE APPLICANT SHALL DULY COMPLY AND SUBMIT ALL PERTINENT REQUIREMENTS AND RELEVANT REGULATORY MEASURES AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW" WHEREAS, Mr. Artemio B. Vitangol III, President and CEO of St. Peter Chapels Mindanao West, Inc., through its letter dated 18 July 2023, sought the support of the City Government in securing the necessary government permits and clearances relative to the establishment of a Funeral Parlor Project-Category I Funeral Chapel/Mortuary with Embalming Facilities at Barangay Dao, this city; WHEREAS, following the favorable recommendation of the concerned Committees, to which the foregoing matter was jointly referred for initial consideration, the body, finding no impediment as to where it will be located, deems it proper to interpose no objection thereto, provided all necessary requisites for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the facility as may be stipulated in existing national laws and local ordinances be strictly complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to interpose, as this body hereby interposes no objection to the application of the St. Peter Chapels Mindanao West, Inc., for the establishment of Funeral Parlor Project-Category I Funeral Chapel/Mortuary with Embalming Facilities at Barangay Dao, this city, provided however, that the applicant shall duly comply and submit all pertinent requirements and relevant regulatory measures as prescribed by law. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor; the City Planning & Development Coordinator; the City Engineer; the City Building Official; and the applicant, Mr. Artemio B.
