RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0449 (Sponsor: Committee on Agriculture, Fishery and Agrarian Reform) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING, DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 038, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING SWINE FARMERS, BACKYARD OR HOG RAISERS TO REGISTER THE TOTAL NUMBER OF HEADS THEY RAISE IN BACKYARD, PIG PEN AND PIGGERY TO EVERY BARANGAY LOCAL GOVERNMENT WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF PAGADIAN CITY, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF" AND FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF THE SAME ON THIRD AND FINAL READING"" WHEREAS, this body, after thorough consideration of the substance and merits of Draft Ordinance No. 038 on Second Reading, finds the proposed measure within the ambit of authority of the body, aside from its relevance and practicability under the present circumstances; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Patrisha Kaye N. Asugas, be it RESOLVED to approve, as it hereby approves on Second Reading, Draft Ordinance No. 038, entitled: "An Ordinance requiring Swine Farmers, backyard or Hog Raisers to register the total number of heads they raise in backyard, pig pen, and piggery to every Barangay Local Government within the territorial jurisdiction of Pagadian City, and providing penalties for violation thereof" and for the consideration of the same on Third and Final Reading.
