"A RESOLUTION TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING THE HEARING OF SP ADMIN CASE NO. 001-2023, ENTITLED: DIOSDADO A. UNO, ET AL. VERSUS BARANGAY CAPTAIN ROEL A. AMBAN OF BARANGAY DEBOROK, THIS CITY, FOR GRAVE MISCONDUCT AND ABUSE OF AUTHORITY, IN STRICT ADHERENCE TO PARAGRAPH (C), SECTION 62 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE OF 1991"
WHEREAS, pending before this august body is the administrative case filed by Complainants, Diosdado A. Uno, Genina E. Amban, Anita L. Sagut, Maritess L. Agtarap, Jaime U. Damiano and Noemie U. Sigan against Respondent, Punong Barangay Roel A. Amban of Barangay Deborok, this City, and is docketed as SP Admin Case No. 001-2023 for Grave Misconduct and Abuse of Authority;
WHEREAS, in an effort to immediately dispose the afore-cited case, this Sanggunian has set the hearing on the 9th day of August 2023, which--upon careful perusal and evaluation--falls within the 90-day prohibitive period provided under Paragraph (c) of Section 62 of the Local Government Code which states that "no investigation shall be held within ninety (90) days immediately prior to any local election" which, in this particular case, is the forthcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election scheduled on October 30, 2023;
WHEREAS, premises considered, it is thus cogently necessary to temporarily suspend the hearing of the afore-cited Administrative Case until after the scheduled Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan election; 
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it 
RESOLVED to temporarily suspend, as this body hereby temporarily suspends the hearing of SP Admin Case No. 001-2023, entitled: "Diosdado A. Uno, et al. versus Barangay Captain Roel A. Amban of Barangay Deborok, this city, for Grave Misconduct and Abuse of Authority, in strict adherence to Paragraph (C), Section 62 of the Local Government Code of 1991.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Complainants, Diosdado A. Uno, Genina E. Amban, Anita L. Sagut, Maritess L. Agtarap, Jaime U. Damiano and Noemie U. Sigan, all of Barangay Deborok, this City; to Atty. Alyssa Marie B. Catalan, Counsel for the Complainants, 0512 Rizal Avenue, Purok Nangka, Tuburan, Pagadian City; to the Respondent, Punong Barangay Roel A. Amban, Barangay Deborok, this City; to Atty. Cliff Cyril A. Magallanes, Counsel for the Respondent, P. L. Urro St., San Jose District, Pagadian City; to the Department of the Interior and Local Government through the City Local Government Operations Officer, Ms. Maribel C. Estoquia; and all other offices concerned, for their information and guidance.
