RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0403 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Health and Social Services and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING, DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 031, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PRACTICE OF TRADITIONAL HOME DELIVERIES OR DELIVERY ATTENDED BY PALTERA (TRADITIONAL BIRTH ATTENDANT) IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF," AND FOR ITS CONSIDERATION ON THIRD READING" WHEREAS, this body, after thorough consideration of the substance and merits of Draft Appropriation Ordinance No. 031 on Second Reading as sponsored by the Committee on Health and Social Services and Committee on Laws, Rules & Policy Formulation, finds the measure very relevant and most applicable under the present circumstances; WHEREAS, this body deems the draft sufficient in form and that the substance thereof is urgent and necessary so as to warrant its further treatment on Third Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Second Reading, Draft Ordinance No. 031, entitled: "An Ordinance prohibiting the practice of traditional home deliveries or delivery attended by Paltera (Traditional Birth Attendant) in the City of Pagadian and imposing penalties for violation thereof," and for its consideration on Third Reading.
