RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0396 (Author: Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte) " A RESOLUTION URGING ALL NATIONAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES STATIONED IN THE CITY, OTHER LOCAL OFFICES AND ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE ELEMENTARY, SECONDARY AND TERTIARY SCHOOLS IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN TO INCLUDE THE SINGING OF THE PAGADIAN CITY HYMN (BEAUTIFUL PAGADIAN) DURING THEIR RESPECTIVE FLAG RAISING CEREMONY" WHEREAS, in an effort to foster patriotism, impart the city's cultural heritage and instill a deeper sense of civic pride and identity among the city residents, the singing of the Pagadian City Hymn during the flag raising ceremony of every institution in the City of Pagadian is most recommended and endorsed; WHEREAS, given the foregoing, it is now imperatively necessary to request all concerned agencies and/or institutions in the city to favorably consider the inclusion of the singing of the Pagadian City Hymn during their respective flag raising ceremony; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte, be it RESOLVED to urge, as this body hereby urges all National Government Agencies stationed in the City, other Local Offices and all Public and Private Elementary, Secondary and Tertiary Schools to include the singing of the Pagadian City Hymn (Beautiful Pagadian) during their respective flag raising ceremony. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished all concerned offices and educational institutions through their respective heads, for information and favorable consideration; and to the Honorable City Mayor for support.
