RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0395 (Sponsor: Committee on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH-CENTER FOR HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT, REGION IX, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BARANGAY HEALTH STATION IN BARANGAYS KAHAYAGAN, KALASAN AND WHITE BEACH IN THE AMOUNT OF FIVE MILLION FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND (P5,400,000.00) PESOS UNDER THE HEALTH FACILITIES ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM (HFEP) OF THE DOH" WHEREAS, there is hereby submitted by the Honorable City Mayor a request for authority to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government, into a Memorandum of Agreement to be entered into by the City Government of Pagadian and the Department of Health-Center for Health and Development, Region IX, to formalize a partnership in the construction of Barangay Health Station in Barangays Kahayagan, Kalasan and White Beach in the amount of P5,400,000.00 under the Health Facilities Enhancement Program of the DOH; WHEREAS, the Committee on Finance and Appropriations, to which the foregoing concern was referred for preliminary consideration, through its Report No. 114, recommended that the Honorable City Mayor be duly authorized to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement for the furtherance of the program, which recommendation merited the concurrence of the body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Health-Center for Health and Development, Region IX, for the construction of Barangay Health Station in Barangays Kahayagan, Kalasan and White Beach in the amount of Five Million Four Hundred Thousand (P5,400,000.00) Pesos, under the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) of the DOH. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for information and favorable action; to the City Legal Officer; and OIC-Regional Director Joshua G. Brillantes, MD, MPH, CESO IV, DOH, Regional Office 9, Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City, and all other offices concerned, for their information, guidance and reference. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
