RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0386 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Ways and Means and Committee on Laws, Rules, and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 024 ON THIRD READING AND ORDAINING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2023-537, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT ON THE REGULATIONS AND GUIDELINES FOR THE LEVY, ASSESSMENT, COLLECTION AND PAYMENT OF TAXES, FEES, CHARGES AND OTHER IMPOSITIONS FOR BUSINESS AND SERVICES RENDERED WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 024 was thoroughly considered by this august body on First and Second Reading and has undergone and complied with all the required processes following the determination of its necessity and practicability, hence its consideration on Third and Final Reading was undertaken; WHEREAS, this body, following the amendment/modification in the title of the said draft Ordinance, and considering the necessity of the proposed measure, deems it prim and proper to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED, as this body hereby resolves to approve Draft Ordinance No. 024 on Third Reading and ordaining the same as City Ordinance No. 2023-537, entitled: "An Ordinance Providing For The Amendment On The Regulations And Guidelines For The Levy, Assessment, Collection And Payment Of Taxes, Fees, Charges And Other Impositions For Business And Services Rendered Within The Territorial Jurisdiction of City of Pagadian And Providing Penalties For Violation Thereof.
