Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT (DSWD)-REGIONAL OFFICE 9, WITH REFERENCE TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF DSWD's 13th CYCLE SUPPLEMENTARY FEEDING PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, consistent with its thrust and commitment to provide food in addition to the regular meals to target children ages 2-4 years old enrolled in the Child Development Center (CDCs) and Supervised Neighborhood Play (SNPs), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-Regional Office 9 and the City Government of Pagadian have agreed to concertedly pursue the implementation of the DSWD's 13th Cycle Supplementary Feeding Program in the City of Pagadian; WHEREAS, to ensure the early and successful pursuance of the foregoing program, the formal forging of a Memorandum of Agreement by and between the City Government of Pagadian and the Department of Social Welfare and Development is necessary where the duties and responsibilities of both parties have been specified--such that the Honorable City Mayor has sought for authority to represent the City Government in the formal forging of the foregoing deed, which request merited the support and concurrence of this august body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-Regional Office 9, with reference to the implementation of DSWD's 13th Cycle Supplementary Feeding Program in the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for information and favorable action; to the City Legal Officer; and Regional Director Riduan P. Hadjimuddin, CESO IV, DSWD, Regional Office 9, 09 Gen. Vicente Alvarez St., Zamboanga City, and all other offices concerned, for their information, guidance and reference. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
