RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0372 (Author: Committee on Health and Social Services) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO ENTER AND SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE SPECIFIC IMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT (SIA) WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT (DSWD)- REGIONAL OFFICE 9, WITH REFERENCE TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF DSWD'S SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM (SLP)" WHEREAS, consistent with the mandate to provide basic services to help alleviate the livelihood of the disadvantaged individuals, families and communities, the City Government of Pagadian and the Department of Social Welfare and Development agreed to concertedly pursue the implementation of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of the DSWD in the City of Pagadian; WHEREAS, the successful pursuance of the foregoing program requires the formulation of a Specific Implementation Agreement by and between the City Government and the DSWD-Regional Office No. 9, to establish and delineate the specific duties and obligations of both parties, such that the Honorable City Mayor has sought for authority to enter into such deed--which request, upon careful perusal and evaluation, merited the support and concurrence of this august body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to enter and sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Specific Implementation Agreement (SIA) with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-Regional Office 9, with reference to the implementation of DSWD's Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP). RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his favorable consideration; and Regional Director Riduan Hadjimuddin, CESO IV, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Regional Office No. 9, General Vicente Alvarez St., Zamboanga City, for reference.
