RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0371 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION ADOPTING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 026 ON THIRD READING AND DENOMINATING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2023-536, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE MANUFACTURE, SALE, POSSESSION, USE, DISPOSAL, AND DISTRIBUTION OF FIRECRACKERS AND PYROTECHNIC DEVICES IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN, PROVIDING THE GUIDELINES AND PENALTY FOR VIOLATORS THEREOF"" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 026 was thoroughly considered by this august body on First and Second Reading and has undergone and complied with all the required processes following the determination of its necessity and practicability, hence its consideration on Third and Final Reading was undertaken; WHEREAS, the intent and application of the proposed measure is deemed for the best interest of the general public and thus merit the body's final action and approval; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED, as this body hereby resolves to adopt Draft Ordinance No. 026 on Third Reading and denominating the same as City Ordinance No. 2023-536, entitled: "An Ordinance regulating the manufacture, sale, possession, use, disposal, and distribution of firecrackers and pyrotechnic devices in the City of Pagadian, providing the guidelines and penalty for violators thereof.
