To) "A RESOLUTION STRONGLY RECOMMENDING TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO IMMEDIATELY EFFECT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE THIRD TRANCHE OF THE MODIFIED SALARY SCHEDULE FOR ALL OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN PURSUANT TO LOCAL BUDGET CIRCULAR NO. 143 IN RELATION TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11466" WHEREAS, pursuant to Republic Act No. 11466, the Department of Budget & Management (DBM) issued Local Budget Circular No. 143, dated January 3, 2022, which, in gist, directed all Local Government Units to implement the Third Tranche Compensation Adjustment for all local government personnel effective 01 January 2022; WHEREAS, due to financial instability experienced by the City Government of Pagadian brought about by the ill-effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the implementation of the above-mentioned order/issuance was not immediately applied during the Calendar Year 2022; WHEREAS, considering the rising cost of commodities and services due to high inflation rate, and given the current financial capability of the City Government to provide such benefits, it is thus imperatively necessary to urge the Honorable City Mayor to immediately effect the implementation of the Third Tranche of the Modified Salary Adjustment for all officials and employees of the City Government; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To, be it RESOLVED to strongly recommend, as this body hereby strongly recommends to the Honorable City Mayor to immediately effect the implementation of the Third Tranche of the Modified Salary Schedule for all officials and employees of the City Government of Pagadian pursuant to Local Budget Circular No. 143 in relation to Republic Act (RA) No. 11466. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable consideration; to the City Budget Officer; and the City Auditor, all of this City, for information and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
