RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0318 (Sponsor: Honorable Patrisha Kaye N. Asugas) "A RESOLUTION ENJOINING ALL COASTAL BARANGAYS OF PAGADIAN CITY TO STRICTLY ADHERE AND COMPLY WITH THE GUIDELINES SET FORTH UNDER MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2023-12, DATED JANUARY 18, 2023, ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT" WHEREAS, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 2023-12, dated 18 January 2023, issued by the Department of the Interior and Local Government, on the subject: "Guidelines in the Enactment and/or Updating of the Municipal/City Fisheries Ordinance of Coastal Local Government Units," the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Zamboanga del Sur, through Resolution No. 573-2023, enjoined all Local Chief Executives of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur to adhere and observe strict compliance thereto and forwarded the same to this august body for information and appropriate action; WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, this body deems it prim and proper to enjoin all coastal barangays within the territorial jurisdiction Pagadian City to as well observe and adhere with the afore-mentioned guidelines set forth under DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2023-12; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Patrisha Kaye N. Asugas, be it RESOLVED to enjoin, as this body hereby enjoins all coastal barangays of Pagadian City to strictly adhere and comply with the guidelines set forth under Memorandum Circular No. 2023-12, dated January 18, 2023, issued by the Department of the Interior and Local Government. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished all coastal Barangay Government Units through their respective Punong Barangays, for their guidance and/or appropriate action; and to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S.
