"A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 017 ON THIRD READING AND ORDAINING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2023-533, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE INSTITUTIONALIZING A DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE IN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN AND, FOR THE PURPOSE, PROVIDING FOR A MANDATORY DRUG TESTING OF ALL CITY GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF""
WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 017 was thoroughly considered by this august body on First and Second Reading and has undergone and complied with all the required processes following the determination of its necessity and practicability, hence its consideration on Third and Final Reading was undertaken;
WHEREAS, the intent and application of the proposed measure is deemed for the best interest of the general public and thus merit the body's final action and approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it

RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves Draft Ordinance No. 017 on Third Reading and ordaining the same as City Ordinance 2023-533, entitled: "An Ordinance Institutionalizing A Drug-Free Workplace In The City Government Of Pagadian And, For The Purpose, Providing For A Mandatory Drug Testing Of All City Government Employees, And Appropriating Funds For The Implementation Thereof."
