RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0293 (Sponsor: Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 017, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE INSTITUTIONALIZING A DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE IN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN AND, FOR THE PURPOSE, PROVIDING FOR A MANDATORY DRUG TESTING OF ALL CITY GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF," AND FOR ITS CONSIDERATION ON THIRD READING" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 017, authored by Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, was presented for consideration on Second Reading; WHEREAS, this body, after thorough consideration of the substance and merits of Draft Ordinance No. 017, finds the proposed measure very relevant and practical under the present circumstances, thus approving the same on Second Reading and for its consideration on Third and Final Reading is most appropriate at this prevailing circumstance; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Second Reading Draft Ordinance No. 017, entitled: "An Ordinance Institutionalizing A Drug-Free Workplace In The City Government Of Pagadian And, For The Purpose, Providing For A Mandatory Drug Testing Of All City Government Employees, And Appropriating Funds For The Implementation Thereof," and for its consideration on Third Reading."
