RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0271 (Sponsor: Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr.) "A RESOLUTION CONSIDERING THE PARTICIPATION/ATTENDANCE OF THE COUNCIL MEMBERS OF THE 14TH CITY COUNCIL TO THE PHILIPPINE COUNCILORS LEAGUE NATIONAL CONVENTION ON MARCH 9-11, 2023 AT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER, PASAY CITY, AS AN OFFICIAL UNDERTAKING OF THE BODY IN LIEU OF ITS SCHEDULED SESSION FOR THE WEEK THEREBY, IN EFFECT, RESCHEDULIING THE 27TH REGULAR SESSION TO MARCH 15, 2023'' WHEREAS, the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) will be holding its Philippine Councilors League National Convention on March 9-11, 2023 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City; WHEREAS, considering the foregoing activity to be equally important and with great bearing particularly on the discharge of the official duties and responsibilities of the members of the 14th City Council who are scheduled to attend/participate the same, hence, the body deems it necessary to consider the said activity as an official undertaking which therefore will necessitate the resetting of the 27th Regular Session to March 15, 2023; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr., be it RESOLVED to consider, as this body hereby considers the participation/attendance of the Council Members of the 14th City Council to the Philippine Councilors League National Convention on March 9-11, 2023 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, as an official undertaking of the body in lieu of its scheduled session for the week thereby, in effect, resetting the 27th Regular Session to March 15, 2023.
