RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0225 (Sponsor: Committee on Health and Social Services) "A RESOLUTION GRANTING AUTHORITY TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH-REGIONAL OFFICE 9, FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INTEGRATED CLINIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (iClinicSys) IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, in line with the national government's thrust to provide quality health services, the City Government of Pagadian and the Department of Health-Regional Office IX have agreed to concertedly implement the Integrated Clinic Information System (iClinicSys) in the City Health Office which aims to help manage the patient demographics, medical histories, diagnoses, treatments, medications, laboratory requests and results and generate the required data for its use and for submission to the Department of Health (DOH) and PhilHealth; WHEREAS, to hasten the pursuance of the foregoing program, there is thus a need for the formal forging of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) by and between the DOH-Regional Office 9 and the City Government of Pagadian where the duties and responsibilities of both parties have been specified--such that a request for authority to enter into such deed has been sought by the Honorable City Mayor; WHEREAS, this body, in support of the favorable recommendation of the concerned Committee-to which the foregoing matter was initially referred-deems it cogently necessary to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to sign the Memorandum of Agreement for and in behalf of the City Government; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to grant, as this body hereby grants authority to the Honorable City Mayor to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Health-Regional Office 9, for the implementation of the Integrated Clinic Information System (IclinicSys) in the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor and the City Legal Officer, for appropriate action; and to OIC - Regional Joshua G.
